Momiji: Sakura’s Hot Cousin

IMG_5157

November in Japan marks another seasonal change. Instead of everything turning white and pink as in April with sakura, Everything turns red and gold, with momiji. Though this season is also marked by Japanese flocking to the countryside, it’s not nearly as popular as sakura-season. Mainly because its too cold to get drunk outside. Still, I like momiji a lot better than sakura.
